Editor: Album Player creates playlists and plays albums of mp3/wma/mid/kar and most other music files. It assumes that all your tracks are placed in folders with the name of the CD that they were released on. When a playlist is created it will randomly choose albums and place them on the playlist. When you play the playlist or copy it to your MP3 Player, then all the tracks in each album will be played. You can assign ratings to albums which will result in a more often or less often selection of that album.
The advantage of selecting complete albums instead of individual tracks is that it is 10 times less work to assign ratings to albums than it is to tracks. Also you will hear the music the way the artists meant it to be, as they released it on their CD. Further, there is often much difference in loudness Between CD's and it is easier to adjust the volume just for each album than for each track.
Album Player does not copy files to its own domain. Just specify the highest folder(s) that contain your music and it will automatically create an internal Catalog in a few seconds. After that you can create a playlist and listen to your music
